SABA was formed to provide an organized system for men, women, and young adults to compete in the sport of pocket billiards. This organation was designed to include and promote competitive and fair play, good sportsmanship, and rewards for individual and team play. It is a sanctioned pool league that offers a variety of pool-playing formats to suit everyone, from those new to the sport, to those with years of experience. The intent of SABA is to provide a venue for fellow pool players to meet, share a mutual love for the game and, most of all, to have fun! What is the Cost? The cost for an individual to participate in one of our League Divisions consists of an annual $60 Fee, valid from Season to season, of any given year. The Fee is paid one time by a sponser, this fee is donated to Board Member Approved Charities. We have donated to Meals for the Elderly, West Texas Boys Ranch,Hospice, San Angelo Home for Girls, and others. What's in it for You? ALL adult teams, across ALL divisions, receive a trophy for place in the top 3 at the end of each season, which is determined by the team’s overall standing within each division as of the final week of play. We also reward top individual player, MVP with the Edna Stone Award. Additionally, the teams from each division will receive a large trophy, as well as smaller trophies for the individual contributors of that team.
